Goats

Welcome to the Goat House!

We love our girls and can't wait to watch them grow. We ended up building an awesome goat house for almost free. We will be breeding and milking these girls once they are old enough.

"Good morning, Mama!"
This is Maggie. Her mother is a French Alpine, father is a Nubian X Oberhalsi. She is such a sweetie pie and acts like a lap dog. She loves to jump all over me and we expect her to give milk that is higher in butterfat.

This is Penelope, a registered Saanen. She is SUCH a stereotypical goat- is makes me laugh. She will chew on anything and is as loud as can be, but loves constant petting and attention. We expect her to give high yields of milk.

We plan to do SO many things with the goat milk: soaps, milk, cheese, yogurt, you name it! We will hold back at least one of the babies in the spring to add to our herd and will sell whichever ones we can.
